Can't reach for a star

No matter how far you have gone, no matter how strong the feeling is, no matter how many setbacks you have passed through, the light of hope is still on and off away from your sight, and you started to go through rounds of questions and hesitations, then you eventually realize these illusions are too good in cheating yourselves.

Perhaps I shouldn't have aimed for shooting a star from the start and all these things will be much easier.

Take A Leap

Will it be easy if we just take a deep breath and a big leap,

and these will all soon become yesterday?

Well, the answer is uncertain.

We might have questions at times, but I know not all questions have answers nor do we need an answer for every single question.

Sometimes you might wish life is like a dream, by the time sun rises, all the unpleased moments will be laid under the bed, and you’re not going to dig it out and mourn over it again.

The hazy weather is making everyone feeling sick but repeatedly playing your graceful singing voice make this hazy day looks a slightly better.

The most ridiculous thing is when you are sensitive over something that others or even you yourself find it ridiculous enough to name it as the joke of the day.

But from the bottom of your heart, you know it’s because of you really care how things go, then you may allow these little upset moments to steal another sunny day from your life.

“Hi” and “Bye” are normally the only 2 words that we usually say when we bump into acquaintances, it actually weigh more than you walk by and ignore him/her.

Grow old gracefully

When you have dreams at 8, you’re cute,

When you have dreams at 18, it’s inspiring,

But when you have dreams at 28, it’s embarrassing,

This is what the mom told her daughter in “Morning Glory”.

I used to think that as you age,

there will have more limitations in life which are unavoidable,

like stop dreaming and live a normal life, a life that what others expect to see in you.

But when you’re finally reached that stage,

you might realize you still have dreams,

and age doesn’t seem to bother you in achieving such goals.

Just like one said,

aging is not scary, but the one who defines it seems scarier. 

Live a life that you want,

where you hold the full rights in ruling the way you want to live.

Choose the peers that you want to hang out with;

read books that are inspiring;

listen to the music that can fill your soul;

do things that can cheer you up when you’re down;

all in all,  

be the one you wanted to be,

be it you’re a little girl or a young woman,

and you’ll find life’s still beautiful and everything seems possible.

We’re not aging,

but growing old gracefully.

Despite how life will take us,

there’ll always a younger me live within me,

now and forever.
